Our Story
Rapid Charge EV started when our founder, Carlos, experienced firsthand what it is like to run out of charge on a busy South Florida highway. After waiting hours for a tow truck that could only take his EV to the nearest charging station — miles away — he knew there had to be a better solution.
That experience sparked the idea for a mobile EV charging service that comes directly to stranded drivers. Instead of waiting for a tow and then waiting again at a charging station, what if a fully equipped charging van could meet you wherever you are and get you back on the road in minutes?
Today, Rapid Charge EV serves all three major South Florida counties — Broward County, Miami-Dade County, and Palm Beach County — with a growing fleet of mobile charging units and a network of licensed towing operators for situations that require more than a charge.

His deep understanding of the challenges EV owners face in South Florida — from the intense heat that affects battery performance to the limited charging infrastructure in many neighborhoods — drives every decision the company makes.
Under his leadership, Rapid Charge EV has grown from a single mobile charging unit to a comprehensive service covering emergency charging, scheduled residential charging, commercial fleet solutions, and towing dispatch coordination across all of South Florida.
Carlos is committed to making EV ownership accessible and stress-free for every driver in the region. His hands-on approach means he is personally involved in ensuring service quality, training team members, and building relationships with the licensed towing operators in the Rapid Charge EV network.
